Biography |
Born on October 15, 1973 on Whiteman Air Force Base. Burden grew up in
Missouri with his two brothers and a sister. Their father, Hershel P. Burden,
Jr. is a retired Air Force captain and retired IRS tax adjuster. Their mother,
Reba F. Burden, retired from nursing and full-time parenting. Burden has one
daughter, Tess Alana Burden, born November 8th, 1997.
Burden attended a number of public schools in Knob Noster, Warrensburg, and
Kansas City, Missouri. At age 9 at Ridgeview Elementary School, Warrensburg,
Mo., he was introduced to his first computer, an Apple Lisa, and promptly made
the system crash. Thus began his long lived tragedy with the technology world.
In 1988 Burden got his first personal PC, a Radio Shack Tandy. No big
surprise that it broke at his hands. In 1989 the family tried again with an Amigo
500. While on the Amiga, which lasted through an upgrade and nine years, Burden
began the formation of Infiniti Studios in his head and later on floppy disk.
During this time Burden dropped out of high school and attained his GED. He
then went on to Penn Valley Community Collage to get his EMT (emergency medical technician)
certification in 1994 and then attended Wright Business School in 1995. Also in
1994 Burden founded Hammer Industries in Kansas City, Missouri. Hammer
Industries would later be closed down, but it served as the prototype for
Infiniti Studios.
It was Burden's dream to create a vital blend between printing houses and
agents in one place. Guided by this vision, he began fully developing Infiniti
Studios and finally officially founded it in 1997. Burden's foresight and
planning is central to the success of Infiniti Studios and our members. Burden
is actively involved in every facet of Infiniti Studios, from future planning to
member coordination to web site layout and plays a vital role in further development
of the company. A considerable amount of his time is still spent in email to
Infiniti Studios clients.
Added to Burden's ideal of artistic advancement, Infiniti Studios has been
evolved to continually move Internet trends for artists and writers, and even
web designers, making strides in aesthetic beauty coupled with informative and
advanced web services. Burden is committed to a long-term vision, and Infiniti
Studios is at the forefront, reflected in it's own website.
In 1999, Burden
joined with graphic designer Debbie Gates to found Candledark Internet
Solutions, a web presence provider that provides high end web hosting and
internet solutions in fundamentally new and inventive ways. As with Infiniti
Studios, Burden is continually hands-on with Candledark, right down to dealing
personally with clients. With Gates, Burden and Infiniti Studios has been essential
in Candledark's development and design, hosting a number of successful,
insightful and artistic sites.
In addition to his passion for the arts and computers, Burden is deeply
interested in bio technologies, travel, and the outdoors. He regularly ventures
out to the numerous state and national parks surrounding him; camping, hiking or
just sitting under a two story cascade. Burden also believes in a good cause,
regularly donating to the United Way, Salvation Army, and the Kentucky
Association of Chiefs of Police.
Burden enjoys reading, golf, pool, and darts, and he's an avid writer and
internet junkie. |
